McPherson County CourthouseThe McPherson County CDDO is one of 27 Kansas organizations that advocates for Developmentally Disabled individuals and their families.

The CDDO
acts as the umbrella of disability services and service providers and ensures that eligible individuals receive the support services they need with available funding.

The CDDO functions as the point of entry for services and determines eligibility for individuals needing services. Choices and options of services available are fully conveyed to the family to meet the needs of the individual.

McPherson County CDDOThe CDDO ensures that service providers comply with rules and regulations concerning individual rights and responsibilities, health, nutrition, record keeping and person centered support planning.
 
Continuity and portability of services, gate keeping into and out of State Hospitals or Intermediate Care Facilities is also closely monitored by the CDDO.

The organization strives to ensure that service providers do not discriminate in who they serve or how they serve an individual based upon the severity of the disability
